Hello! My name is Francesca Petrolo. I am 36 years old, I am from Rome, Italy and I am your personal trainer! Sport and fitness have always been a strong point in my life and I have been always fit and healthy as you can observe on my social media platform. My career started when I decided to change sports; from equitation to kick-boxing. When I found the right coach, he saw potential in me that I did not see in myself. He helped me to grow in this sport directing me to participate in several fights, which allowed me to be more confident. I'm an active boxing and kickboxing athlete and I' ve been practicing this sport for the last 22 years, during which I also dedicated myself to learn and improve new skills. I have always worked with adults and children managing classes and also with private sessions.
4 years ago I moved to San Diego, California even if I had my own home and a good job in Rome. I decided to move here with my dog, Alaska, because I have always been fascinated with U.S.A especially San Diego. The weather heavenly and I really wanted to learn English well. Since I arrived in America, I immediately started training with Muay Thai, and shortly after, I decided to fight again. I also started to study again. I have now a Master in Business administration, with specialization in " Sport Management". In the meantime, I personally met the kettlebell master, as well as the founder of IKFF, Steve Cotter, with whom a great friendship was immediately built and I started training with him every week. After a year I was able to do the IKFF certification with him.
I believe that I will never stop studying, learning, and discovering new things and new skills, because all I want to do is to pass it on to others and to get people into the world of sports, teaching healthy daily movement and healthy lifestyle as it is for me. Helping people to be stronger not only physically, but to be confident in any situation of our life.
I have a second-grade kickboxing black belt. I did 8 fights in Rome plus one in boxing. I, also, participated in 3 Muay Thai fights in San Diego. I’m not a professional fighter because my goal is to constantly learn, improve my skills, and have fun! I’m a second level instructor for Olympic weightlifting. I have a certification in stretching and postural training which I use at the end of every training session. Two years ago I began my new interest in Supless Training System and one year ago I participated in the Bulgarian Bag Course level 1 with my friend, Mike Salemi, in San Francisco.
I always utilized kettlebells during my workout and I completed a certification when I was in Rome and I participated in two workshops in San Diego. I’m actually training kettlebells sport with the master Steve Cotter. I’m studying in a Weck Method lab where I’m learning how to use Bosu Elite, MRT club, and Pro Pulser. I have obtained the first level of the scuba diving certification.

I’m writing this article because, due to my long experience in the world of sport, especially combat sport like kickboxing and boxing, I can say and confirm that training with kettlebells is extremely important as a best performance way to achieve our goals.
